Shipping & returns

1. Packaging

Every work is packed to measure to protect it in transit. Sculptures travel in a wooden crate built to size in the studio, with foam and inner padding so they come to no harm on the way. Each sculpture travels insured for its full value for the whole journey. Drawings are shipped in a simple wooden frame with plastic glazing, inside a padded envelope.

2. Shipping costs

All sculptures ship with DHL Express, insured for their value (1% of the price of the work, minimum €16), already included in the shipping cost. The amount depends on the size of the work and the destination. As a guide:

• SpainMedium sculpture, from €90 · large sculpture, from €130
• European UnionMedium, from €200 · large, from €320
• United Kingdom and SwitzerlandMedium, from €220 · large, from €350
• Rest of the worldMedium, from €350 · large, from €550

The exact amount for each work is shown in the cart before you pay. In Spain and the European Union it includes VAT. Shipments outside the European Union may be subject to import duties and taxes payable by the buyer.

3. Delivery times

Shipped with DHL Express, to Spain and worldwide, with door-to-door tracking. As each crate is built by hand, preparation takes 1 to 3 business days, a little longer for large or heavy works. Including preparation, the estimated total delivery time is:

• Spain3–7 business days
• Europe4–9 business days
• Rest of the world5–12 business days, plus customs clearance

I will send you the tracking number as soon as the work leaves the studio, so you always know where it is. Carrier delivery times are estimates.

4. Receiving your order

Check the package when it arrives. If you see any damage to the packaging, tell the carrier and write to me within 48 hours with photos.

5. Returns

If the work is not what you expected, you have 15 calendar days from receipt to let me know you want to return it, with no explanation needed. Write to me at info@davidgomezescultor.com with your order number.

• Condition: the sculpture must arrive in the same condition in which you received it, in its original packaging or in packaging that protects it just as well.
• Return shipping: is paid by the buyer. I recommend a tracked and insured service, as the work travels at your risk until it reaches the studio.
• Refund: I refund the price of the work and the original shipping you paid, using the same payment method, within 14 days at most. I may wait until I receive the work and check its condition before doing so.
• Exceptions: returns are not accepted for commissioned works made to your specifications, or for pieces damaged by improper use or handling.

6. Work damaged in transit

If the work arrives damaged, you will not pay anything: write to me within 48 hours with photos of the packaging and the piece, and I will find a solution with you (repair, replacement where possible, or a full refund).
